# How long does it take to fit a wet room?

## Fitting a wet room usually takes 5–7 days. Our team manages everything from removal to finishing touches, with minimal disruption.

The installation of a wet room is a detailed process that ensures your new space is both safe and built to last.

Typically, fitting a wet room takes **between 5 and 7 days** from start to finish, depending on the size of your bathroom and the complexity of the work required.

**Here’s what’s involved:**

- **Day 1:** Our team carefully prepares your home by protecting floors and entryways, then removes your old bath, shower, or fittings. Any plumbing or electrical adjustments should be started.
- **Days 2–5:** We install the wet room system, including tanking (waterproofing), flooring, wall finishes, and drainage. Safety features such as anti-slip flooring and grab rails are added during this stage.
- **Final days:** All finishing touches are completed, such as tiling, fitting screens, and installing fixtures. The room is thoroughly cleaned, and we carry out final safety checks to ensure everything is perfect.
